As one of the longest-running and influential names for car buyers and enthusiasts alike, What Car? has been central to Haymarket’s automotive portfolio, which also includes Autocar and PistonHeads, since its launch in 1973.
What Car? has long been renowned for its focus on consumer affairs and car buying advice, with its Car of the Year awards, True MPG data, Target Price index and Approved Used online retail business.
Now with the addition of the new car buyer marketplace, where you can find the right car, from the right dealer at the right price, Haymarket has continued to drive the What Car? brand into new territories as the automotive and publishing landscapes evolve online.

“On a night when we celebrate the successes of CitNOW customers across the car sales, servicing and repair businesses, having a journalist of Darren’s standing on hand to discuss the industry will add a new dimension to the event.”
Darren Moss added: “Video is changing the way each and every one of us does business. Customers are entering showrooms better informed than ever before, and they’re expecting quality video on their smartphones. I’m looking forward to sharing our experiences with video with industry professionals who are embracing it too.”
