As of today, digital agency We are you. and the Amsterdam based FinTech company Virtual Affairs are joining forces. The new formation, with more than 350 digital professionals, is among the top of digital agencies in the Netherlands. Virtual Affairs adds an attractive customer portfolio of big players in the financial sector.

“With this acquisition, We are you. also offers specific expertise in the financial sector,” says JorgVerweij, CEO at We are you. “Virtual Affairs has a good knowledge of the industry and has ready-made solutions for banks and insurers. As with previous acquisitions for the We are you. formation, Virtual Affairs will continue to operate as an independent unit.”

Erik Lamers, Managing Partner at Virtual Affairs, is also enthusiastic about the acquisition: “We are extremely pleased with this development. Together with our selling partner Holland Venture, we have been able to achieve a sizeable growth, also internationally, which has enabled us to take this next step. We can now offer our customers even greater scalability and security. On a technical level, the different companies that are part of the We are you. formation can learn a lot from each other.”

Robin Peters, Managing Partner at Virtual Affairs, adds that the cultures of the current We are you. elements are well-aligned to the Virtual Affairs company culture. “Thanks to a comparable way of working and a flat organisational structure, employees can easily contribute to each other’s projects. This offers our digital professionals even more opportunities, and our Dutch and international customers benefit from a broader range of specialisms.”
