KA2 SPONSORS ENGLAND DEAF RUGBY

KA2, an expert consultancy specialising in technology transformation programmes for financial services and insurance firms today announce their sponsorship of England Deaf Rugby. England Deaf Rugby was set up to enable the Deaf and Hard of Hearing people to get together and enjoy the sport of rugby union. It enables them to participate in every aspect of the sport whether training, match, or knowing socially that there aren’t any communication barriers due to a common ground.

Chriss Andrews, founder and CEO of KA2 commented. “Those who know me will know that I am an avid rugby supporter and through the season can be found supporting the national team across Europe. KA2 are delighted to support such a great cause, not solely because of my personal interest but also because we really feel their values are aligned with ours. Communication is at the heart of everything we do and deliver to our clients and so supporting those with difficulties is close to my heart. I have only recently met the team at England Deaf Rugby and have a good feeling that the benefits will not be one-sided. I am looking forward to how we can help each other grow.”

Richard ‘Juggler’ Austin, Secretary at England Deaf Rugby commented, “We are truly grateful for the support from Chriss and the team at KA2. This cause is extremely important to those involved and the wider rugby scene and deaf community. We absolutely rely on the generosity of people like Chriss and it is essential for us to be able to continue to recruit new players and train in order to represent on a national level. We have just announced our ‘World Deaf 7’s’ squad and are travelling to Sydney, Australia to compete on Sunday 22nd April through Saturday 28th April. Let’s hope they put on a better performance than the England 1st XI we have seen of late!”

KA2 are named sponsors of the Fintech Quiz night being held in London on Wednesday 11th April and a share of the proceeds will be donated to England Deaf Rugby on behalf of KA2.
