Dales SEAT Scorrier has clinched a top accolade from SEAT, having been named SEAT Dealer of the Year for outstanding performance in 2017.

Earning the Top Performer Gold Award, the Cornwall-based retailer faced stiff competition for the top honour, standing out with its impressive cross-channel sales figures, staff development values and customer satisfaction ratings.

Now in its third year, the SEAT Dealer of the Year Awards celebrates the most successful and high-performing SEAT retailers across the UK.

Upon being presented with the award, Adam Gill, SEAT Sales Manager at Dales Scorrier, commented: “As a franchise we believe that if you value your staff and customers then success will always follow, and this award is proof that it works.

“Combined with an award-winning product line-up and a brand commitment to affordability, the entire SEAT network is enjoying a period of success, and we’re proud that our team has been recognised as part of this.”

As well as showcasing the brand’s most successful retailers, the SEAT Dealer of the Year awards go a step further to identify how those retailers achieve such exemplary standards.

With a rigorous scorecard of ten categories – ranging from new and used car sales, lead generation figures and fleet sales to staff development and customer service ratings – the awards promote employer excellence as much as retail quality and service.

After a total of eleven awards were presented, Pulman SEAT enjoyed multiple successes – including the Top Performer Silver Award for its excellent overall performance and Satisfaction Performance award for its outstanding customer service ratings.

Richard Harrison, Managing Director at SEAT UK, added: “With the great success SEAT has seen over the past 12 months, this year’s awards was the most hotly-contested yet, and each winner has had to be nothing short of outstanding.

“Dales Scorrier has stood out for its all-round performance, excelling in every category to truly embody the SEAT core values.”

As well as being presented with a trophy and certificate, category and overall winners also earned cash rewards for every staff member, with the Top Performer Gold Award winners receiving £250 each.

The SEAT Dealer of the Year Awards follow the Spanish manufacturer’s fifth consecutive year of growth, with a 14.6% rise in sales globally year-on-year in 2017.
