    The Capital Market Association of Zambia (CMAZ) and the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) are delighted to announce their new partnership to promote Continuing Professional Development, ethics and professionalism in the Zambian capital market.  The occasion was marked at a signing ceremony hosted by the Securities and Exchange Commission and in the presence of The Lord Mayor of the City of London, the Right Honourable Dr. Andrew Parmley

    CISI AND CMAZ SIGN AGREEMENT TO BOOST PROFESSIONAL AND ETHICAL STANDARDS IN ZAMBIAN CAPITAL MARKETThrough this new partnership which is a first in Zambia, members of the CMAZ will have access to CISI membership benefits including the CISI library of on-line resources, e-learning opportunities, CISI TV and educational publications.  In addition, the parties will work together on events and other relevant activities for the local market.

    Kevin Moore, Chartered FCSI and CISI Director of Global Business Development said: “We are extremely pleased to sign this partnership with the CMAZ, who we know are truly committed to supporting practitioners in the Zambian market through the development of high professional standards in the Zambian financial services sector.”

    CMAZ President, Muchindu Kasongola said: “This agreement with CISI is another important development for the CMAZ in its commitment to serve professionals within the Zambian capital markets. The provision of CISI globally recognised membership and CPD opportunities will contribute to improving professionalism and trust in financial services in Zambia.”
