Virtual Cabinet, the innovative electronic document management and portal system used by dynamic accountancy firms throughout the UK, has been shortlisted in the 2014 British Accountancy Awards.

Developed by Lindenhouse, Virtual Cabinet is in line for the coveted Practice Software Product of the Year Award. The winner will be announced at the British Accountancy Awards on the 25th November at the Brewery in London.

Now in their 4th year, these prestigious awards are designed to highlight those that have demonstrated excellence during the last 12 months.

Lindenhouse founder, Alison Jackson commented “Virtual Cabinet is preferred document management & portal solution for over 25 of the top 100 firms with next stage discussions in place with a further 20 leading firms.”

“We have made automated document management a reality for all; not just big firms with bigger budgets. From the outset our objective has been to work with the market to deliver what it wants and needs and our focus on delivering innovative technology will continue to be at the heart of our philosophy. We hope that this, along with providing great customer service, secures us this important industry award.”

Virtual Cabinet was first electronic document management system to incorporate cloud technology in the form of an integrated document portal and to transform Electronic Document Management from being a repository of information into an environment that captures, creates, distributes, follows up, interprets, stores, retrieves and manages information in a secure, automated and integrated way – all while meeting compliance and governance regulations.
