Financial services firm True Potential Investments has announced the appointment of Emma Napier as Head of Distribution.
Starting January 2014, Emma will lead True Potential Investments’ business development team, driving forward the ambitious growth plans for the firm’s wealth platform business.
Napier has a strong background in the financial services industry, having worked in the IFA community for over 20 years. Her most recent role was as Head of Adviser Relations at The Platforum, a leading independent specialist on wealth management platforms.
Previous roles include Chief Operations Officer at The Regent Organisation where Emma was responsible for support and compliance functions, and Operations Manager at city-based IFA Advisory & Brokerage Services Ltd.
Commenting on her new role, Emma said: “I feel like my career has gone full circle and I’ve learnt lots of lessons along the way. I understand the day-to-day challenges that advisers face and I am fully aware of the opportunities that are presented in today’s market. Advisers need to be armed with the most powerful and intuitive tools available to them to deliver added value to their client base. True Potential offers it all and I want to continue to make a difference.
“I am excited about the opportunity to work really closely with quality advisers using revolutionary technology providing tomorrow’s financial advice to clients.”
True Potential’s strong financial results – to the end of September the group turnover was reported at £18.9m and profit at £3.6m – demonstrate the success of the company’s wealth platform.
Daniel Harrison, Managing Partner at True Potential Investments, commented: “With Emma’s hands-on experience and understanding of both compliance and advisory services, she has the advantage of knowing how things work in the real world. We believe that our adviser clients will really benefit from this level of input and we’d like to welcome Emma to the team.”
