Expanding its team of top Intellectual Property attorneys, Rimon Law is pleased to welcome an eight-person group from the Silicon Valley office of Duane Morris, including four partners.

The partners include Karineh Khachatourian, who founded and previously served as managing partner of Duane Morris’ Silicon Valley office, Amir A. Tabarrok, Dr. David T. Xue and Justin W. Zahrt.

Also joining will be associate Nikolaus Woloszczuk and three staff members.

“We are very pleased to welcome Karineh, Amir, David and Justin to Rimon. They have a reputation for excellence in the tech and litigation worlds. What’s more, their experience goes beyond the legal industry – they have been creators and business leaders in their own right before getting into the law,” said Michael Moradzadeh, CEO of Rimon Law.

The group will be joining an experienced IP team of 19 Partners, including recent additions Patrick Kuehl, Jr., Matt Poppe, Zheng Liu, Gabriel Gregg, Peng Chen, and Max Waldbaum. The IP team works closely with the Corporate, Tax, Private Client, and Litigation teams to ensure that Rimon’s clients benefit from full-spectrum representation.

The firm has been repeatedly recognized by the Financial Times as one of North America’s most innovative law firms. The firm’s Managing Partners were both named ‘Legal Rebels’ by the American Bar Association’s ABA Journal and have spoken on innovations in the practice of law at Harvard and Stanford Law Schools. Rimon and its lawyers have also received numerous awards for excellence, including from Best Lawyers and Chambers.

“Our group thought it was time to do something different. As veterans of big law firms, we were looking for a platform that is more aligned with Silicon Valley culture. We found that in Rimon. Our clients demand the creative thinking, nimbleness and an ability to think outside of the box that has been Rimon’s hallmark,” said Ms. Khachatourian.

Ms. Khachatourian is a first chair IP litigator who handles matters ranging from network enterprise, semiconductor and consumer products, software, and the internet of things in court and at the Patent and Trademark office. He received the Outstanding Chinese Patent Award by the State Intellectual Property Office of China.
