Award-winning company adds to portfolio of household brands
MMT Digital, a specialist design and build agency, has experienced a sustained period of growth over the last few years, with turnover increasing more than 50% year on year in the past three years. This increase is due to the significant rise in both new and repeat business.
MMT Digital focuses on providing market-leading services including strategy, user experience, design and build, and bespoke applications and, as a result, has acquired a number of new accounts in 2015. The company has also seen growing demand for its services from its existing client base.
MMT Digital’s work has also been acknowledged by the industry — taking six awards at the Recommended Agency Register (RAR) Digital Awards, including the RAR Grand Prix Award, Best Software Development Agency in the UK, Best Web Development Agency in the UK, and Best Web Design Agency in the UK. The company has also been listed in The Drum’s Elite Agency Top 10 and Econsultancy’s Top 100.
MMT Digital works with an ever-expanding list of household names, including Compare the Market, BACARDÍ, Scope, Martini and Pearson. The agency also works with one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical organisations, Allergan, and AXELOS, a joint venture company, created by the Cabinet Office on behalf of Her Majesty’s Government (HMG) in the United Kingdom and Capita plc to run the Global Best Practice portfolio.
The increase in demand has led to a continuous recruitment drive, with the agency hiring 15 new staff in 2015 to fill technical, design, user experience and account management positions. The new starters take the MMT Digital team to over 65 people, which necessitated the move to larger offices in London and an expansion of its Midlands office.
“It’s been a period of strong growth for the company and that’s certainly reflected in our growing client list, office expansion, and recruitment drive,” says Ben Rudman, CEO, MMT Digital. “Obviously our customers remain at the core of what we do and keeping them happy is the most important thing.
“We are extremely diligent in ensuring that we do not drop our standard of service as we grow. That’s why we were so delighted to win six RAR Awards as the winners are decided solely on client feedback and how companies score their agencies for the services that they provide.
“It’s crucial that we hire the best talent out there,” explains Rudman. “There’s an acknowledged skills shortage in the UK when it comes to developers, which is why we are so proactive in not only finding the best talent, but making sure we keep hold of them.”
MMT Digital is built on the transparent and collaborative nature of its service delivery. This philosophy helps the agency build close partnerships with its clients.
Rudman says: “We believe in regular communication with the client so that they are constantly kept in the loop. Without having a great relationship with the client, which includes making sure we fully understand their business and target market to enable the creation of excellent user journeys, the best results cannot be achieved.”
With a number of significant projects on the horizon for the end of 2015, the company’s growth is set to continue.
