Radetsky handles acquisition, finance, construction and conversion issues for condo and cooperatives and for nonprofits; Associate Jennifer Chung will also be joining
New York, NY –Expanding its team of experienced real estate advisors, Phillips Nizer LLP has added Lisa R. Radetsky as a partner in its real estate practice. In an unrelated hire, Jennifer Chung has joined the real estate department as a senior associate.
Ms. Radetsky joins Phillips Nizer from Rosenberg &Estis. Ms. Chung joins Phillips Nizer from Thompson Hine LLP.
Ms. Radetsky represents developers in acquiring, financing, constructing and converting properties to condominium or cooperative ownership and the representation of non-profits in the converting of properties to condominium ownership for tax exemptions.
Additionally, she represents clients in drafting cooperative and condominium offering plans for vacant and occupied residential properties and mixed-use projects and the registration of offering plans with government agencies, as well as the drafting and creation of fee and leasehold commercial condominiums including the preparation of all requisite “no action” letter applications.
Ms. Radetsky also handles transactional work, including sales and acquisitions, and lending including construction financing and mezzanine lending, and leasing, as well as representing boards of condominiums and cooperatives.

At Phillips Nizer, Ms. Radetsky joins one of New York’s leading real estate practices, the latest in a series of high-profile lateral partner hires in real estate and related fields. Earlier this year, the firm added real estate partners Jay Kim and Tom Fuerth, environmental law partner Eileen Millett and land use and government relations partner Christian Hylton.
Ms. Radetsky earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, and her undergraduate degree from Brandeis University.

Ms. Chung joins Phillips Nizer from Thompson & Hines. She focuses her practice on complex commercial and residential real estate transactions, representing lenders, purchasers, sellers and borrowers of commercial real estate.
Ms. Chung received her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and her B.A. from Columbia University.
