The event, hosted at the luxurious Four Season’s Hotel, was focused on the message that London is very much open for business post-Brexit.

It included an introduction and talk from Rajesh Agrawal, Deputy Mayor of London for Business, who spoke at length about the opportunities available to investors in the Capital and across the UK.

Joelson’s team of investment specialists, drawn from its Corporate and Commercial Team, attended to share their expertise on inward investment into the UK and to help promote London as a brilliant place to do business.

The firm, based in Portland Place and the City of London, has a long-standing relationship with London & Partners and has been invited to talk and attend a number of its recent events in the Capital and overseas, including a recent trade trip to Spain.

Sheldon Cordell, Chairman at Joelson, said: “Britain continues to offer some wonderful opportunities to businesses overseas and it is clear having attended this event that there continues to be a lot of interest in the UK from China.

“Having spoken with a number of those who attended it is clear that there are concerns about Brexit, but in the whole attitudes remain very positive. I hope that through our association with London & Partners we can help bring more inward investment to the UK.”

He added that since the event he and the firm had already seen increased interest from China thanks to the support of London & Partners.
