“I didn’t meet the seller, knew nothing about the property, and did hardly any due diligence,” Wilmot said. “All it took was a few contracts and a call to three cash buyers who owned nearby properties. One said, ‘Yes, I want to buy another one.’ I told him my new asking price, and he wired the earnest money deposit to my escrow attorney that day.”
This experience was nothing short of a revelation. It showed him a more straightforward, efficient way to make money in real estate while enjoying life. He realized he didn’t need to be glued to his phone or babysitting contractors to be successful. Meditation has been one of my most difficult yet rewarding practices; it helps clear my mind and make better decisions.
