CitNOW has strengthened its foothold in North America with the appointment of David Guillory as its General Director of North America and Canada.
David will oversee the rollout of CitNOW across North America, as the founder of automotive video establishes its Workshop and Sales products across the Atlantic.
Continuing CitNOW’s trend of recruiting automotive professionals into the business, David brings over 35 years of experience in automotive retailing, having worked for renowned marques including Audi, BMW, Porsche and Jaguar.
During his years in the sector, David worked his way up to a number of senior management roles and built a comprehensive understanding of the challenges facing American automotive retailers.
In its first year of full operation, David will help CitNOW USA establish a firm foothold in the state of Georgia, with sizeable subscription targets in place for 2018 across the Workshop and Sales products initially.
Amanda Troup, a former CitNOW Brand Manager at Canadian reseller Auto Loyalty, will manage CitNOW training and deployment in North America. Amanda has previously been through CitNOW’s business DNA and Academy programmes, and brings a comprehensive understanding of CitNOW products to her new role.
Wayne Brannon will assist David, serving as a Non-Executive Director and brings over 30 years of experience in the automotive sector.
David Guillory said: “CitNOW as a concept for the automotive market was enough to make me want to join. Coming from a retailing background, I know video is the type of lasting solution that can genuinely help American retailers; it isn’t just a flash in the pan, it is a genuine advancement.
“But it wasn’t just the idea. As the founders of automotive video, CitNOW brings with it over ten years of experience from the UK. This dedicated support network available to both the company and customers is already proving an integral part of our roll-out of the platform across the US.”
Alistair Horsburgh, CitNOW’s CEO added: “With substantial experience in the American automotive market, David’s experience, knowledge and track-record with major brands will no doubt prove the catalyst to CitNOW’s expansion across the USA.”
David lives in Alpharetta, Georgia with his wife Tonya, and his daughter Lily. A fan of the great outdoors, David enjoys fishing, mountain biking and skiing in his spare time.
