Andrew Henwood to talk on Account Data Compromise Perspectives, Recent Breaches and Regional Trends at MasterCard and PASA PCI Symposium
Andrew Henwood, CEO of Foregenix, an independent and specialist information security business, has been called by MasterCard and the Payments Association of South Africa (PASA) to share Foregenix’s global expertise of data breaches and incidents at the MasterCard and PASA PCI Workshop 2014.
Having recently investigated one of the biggest breaches in cybercrime history that took place in South Africa, Andrew will detail the chronological events of the hack itself, the investigation that Foregenix carried out and the treatment that followed when he speaks to senior business leaders later this month.
Taking place in two separate locations in Johannesburg and Cape Town, he will use case studies and first-hand experience to unveil recent trends in cybercrime and additionally the advancements in Point to Point Encryption (P2PE) before discussing Third Party Management strategies and the role of Data Discovery in a security and compliance strategy.
As a forerunner in PCI and the first and only Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) globally to certify seven Point-to-Point-Encryption (P2PE) Applications, Foregenix are looking forward to sharing their knowledge.
