    • Emprise Bank has selected FIS as its new core banking provider.
    • Bank leaders selected FIS to improve service and support, and were impressed by the insight and experience of FIS’ team, as well as its level of executive engagement.
    • FIS’ core processing solution allows financial institutions to quickly bring new products to market that are attractive to customers and improve an institution’s ability to compete in an environment of lowered revenues and increasing regulatory oversight.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Jan. 28, 2016 – Transforming itself through streamlined services and increased functionality, Emprise Bank has selected FIS™ (NYSE: FIS), a global leader in financial services technology, as its new core banking provider.

Well known in the community banking market for the depth of its customer relationships, Emprise Bank was looking for a technology partner who could meet the bank’s high support and client service expectations. Evaluating FIS’ capabilities, bank leaders were impressed by the level of executive engagement, the insight and experience of FIS’ team as well as the quality and innovative functionality of its core solution, including its wider integration and cleaner data management, which creates efficiencies between systems.

Increased efficiency was of particular interest to the bank. It previously operated without EFT and card integration, and wanted a complete solution that would streamline everything from account opening to card production and transaction processing in the same place. Faster end-of-day processing and the ability to streamline third-party relationships also stood out as ways the bank could benefit from FIS.

“Community banks continue to search for differentiated capabilities that will set them apart from other competitors, both large and small,” said Anthony Jabbour, chief operating officer, Banking and Payments, FIS. “Streamlining operations and speeding up services allows community banks like Emprise to better compete. FIS’ ability to add functionality plus efficiency is what truly sets us apart, and helped show Emprise how effective they could be.”

“At Emprise Bank, our central focus is providing our customers a better way to bank,” said Teri Ginther, EVP, Emprise Bank. “One of the ways we can achieve that is by adding value through more efficient processes. FIS’ solutions and support will allow us to streamline vendor management, which will help us be more responsive to our customers’ needs and deliver on the superior experience they expect from us with each interaction.”

Headquartered in Wichita, Kan., with more than $1 billion in assets, Emprise Bank has 37 branches, located in over 20 communities across Kansas.
