- Rajeev Aggarwal joins as Managing Director to spearhead growth
Financial services insight specialist Consumer Intelligence has appointed Rajeev Aggarwal to grow its advisory business as it looks to expand in 2018.
He joins the business as Managing Director (Advisory) from PwC Consulting where he specialised in helping financial institutions transform their performance, from strategy through to implementation. His focus at Consumer Intelligence will be growing the client base and recruiting staff as the advisory arm expands to service existing and new clients among UK and global insurance companies and banks.
The appointment highlights the success of the new advisory business which was launched in June 2017 in response to demand from clients for strategic business advice and support based on the consumer insights and benchmarking data already provided by Consumer Intelligence.
The company, which is chaired by former Deloitte Partner and Vice Chairman Louis Jordan, currently operates in the UK, Europe, Asia and North America, working with major UK insurers and price comparison websites as well as banks and foreign currency payment specialists.
Ian Hughes, Chief Executive of Consumer Intelligence said: “Launching an advisory arm was a logical step as we transform the business and Rajeev’s global and UK experience advising senior executives ensures that we have the expertise to meet existing demand and continue the rapid growth.”
Rajeev Aggarwal, Managing Director (Advisory) added: “Consumer Intelligence’s core capabilities in helping companies understand what customers want and need provides a strong platform for supporting clients and enabling them to outperform in an increasingly competitive environment with threats from new innovative entrants.”
He started his 17-year career with Booz & Company working with financial services clients across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa before moving to PwC Consulting in 2012 where he focused more on UK businesses.
His recent clients have included the largest UK Banks, Wealth Managers and Insurers and examples of his work include, advising on 2020 vision and strategy, performance benchmarking and operating model redesign.
Consumer Intelligence, which has its headquarters in Bristol, owns polling and mystery shopping panel Viewsbank, with access to more than 130,000 shoppers and recently celebrated its 14th anniversary.
