CCL, the international regulatory consultancy, has appointed Alan Leale-Green, previously Aberdeen Asset Management‘s Global Head of Compliance – Front Office Risk, as Managing Director of its UK operation.
Alan has over 40 years’ experience in the securities and futures industry and has worked for a number of city institutions. Alan’s knowledge of compliance and finance consultancy includes working with investment management firms, investment banks, broker dealers and corporate finance houses. At CCL, Alan will be leading the UK’s longest established independent compliance consultancy.
“I am delighted to have joined the most experienced compliance consulting team in the UK,” says Leale-Green. “Although we have tremendous strength in depth, I believe passionately that our clients must also benefit from fresh thinking and a flexible, client-centred approach.”
Prior to Aberdeen Asset Management, for 13 years Alan managed two major UK compliance consultancies (including the IMS Group), developing substantial expertise in the UK compliance consultancy market. Prior to this he was employed by Lehman Brothers, where he held a variety of positions, including spending six years as European Head of Compliance. Alan has also worked as an adviser to industry practitioner committees set up by the Alternative Investment Management Association.
“Alan’s broad experience reflects our own rounded portfolio of customers on both the buy- and sell-sides of the industry,” says Ralph Lindeyer, founder and Chairman of CCL. “With the global compliance consultancy market in a state of flux, we seek to provide a stable and safe haven for all our clients. Indeed, we have been around for over 25 years under the same ownership and we aim to be for the next 25, still serving the long-term interests of our clients.”
