AR Systems Develops Automated Retailing Units for Major Global Movie, Theme Park, and Media Conglomerate

Custom designed systems will be deployed in customer’s theme parks this summer

Systems (www.automatedretailingsystems.com), a leading developer of an array of innovative engineering processes, automation controls, data collection services, wireless management tools, and automated retailing systems, announced that it has created a collection of unique self-service machines for a global media and theme park conglomerate.

The systems are in production and will be delivered this summer.

AR Systems custom designed the units, which feature unique and patented technologies, including the ARS Kiosk Manager. This proprietary application comes with an array of features that provide instantaneous insight into all system functions, including sales reports, inventory levels, and perishable dates; as well as control of system parameters including pricing updates, service lock and unlock, and temperature control.

The client is a one of the world’s largest media and entertainment companies, with film studios, theme parks, television networks and major market stations, and leading global movie franchises. The client selected AR Systems after an exhaustive search for a reliable, technologically-advanced company that could produce custom-designed automated retailing systems with customer-friendly features and a robust back-end reporting portal.

Shannon Illingworth, Chief Innovation Officer at AR Systems, said that he is pleased to be working with this distinguished client.

“Throughout my career, I have had the pleasure of working with some of the biggest brands in the world, but none as illustrious as this company,” he said. “In addition to the prestige and the privilege of working with the very smart people in their organization, I am happy that our production process is going very smoothly and that the client has expressed that they are thrilled with our results.”
