Today Application Experts, LLC (App-X), the leading provider of flexible web-based solutions for alternative asset fund managers, institutional investors, and impact investors, announces the promotion of Ben Hendershot to Chief Operating Officer (COO). Mr. Hendershot joined App-X in January 2010 and previously served as Director of Business Development, Director of Professional Services and as a Project Manager at the Company.
Mr. Hendershot is uniquely suited to his new role having been deeply involved in the complete life-cycle of all App-X products, from development to sales and client implementations. He came to App-X with a strong background in management and IT consulting, and holds a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University.

As COO Mr. Hendershot will be focused on executing the vision of App-X Founder and CEO Kevin Kelly and will work closely with the firm’s Leadership Team, including VP of Internal Operations Kristen Larson, VP of Customer Success Jill Montera, VP of Products Jeff Williams, VP of Engineering Bryan Ward, and VP of Sales and Marketing John Peterson.
