Gamble joins growing job search engine to spearhead North American market

Global job search engine Adzuna, today announced that industry veteran Christopher Gamble, formerly a senior sales leader at Indeed, has joined the company as Vice President of Sales for North America, effective immediately.

Gamble will spearhead the organization’s US and Canadian operation, build relationships with employers, agencies and staffing firms and grow the US-based sales teams.

With over 25 years of senior sales, technology and recruitment industry experience, Gamble brings experience from EMC, GE, MSN Healthcare and most recently Indeed, where he established the company’s national enterprise staffing group, growing revenues to more than $125 million during his tenure.

Doug Monro, co-founder of Adzuna said: “We are delighted to welcome Christopher to our growing team. With thriving operations in 16 different international markets, expanding our global presence is a key focus for Adzuna. His expertise scaling a successful job search brand in the US market, coupled with his in-depth knowledge of the needs of North American employers, make him the perfect candidate to lead Adzuna into the next stage of development.

“Our ambitions for the US market are big, so we needed a sales heavyweight to lead the charge. With Christopher to spearhead the next stage of our journey we have great confidence we will achieve amazing things.

“The possibilities for North American recruiters are exciting. Adzuna will give direct employers, staffing companies, job boards and with their agencies alike  a fresh, independent path to reach engaged, expertly-matched candidates.”

A respected industry leader, Gamble holds a degree from the Fowler School of Business at San Diego State University and is a veteran of the US Marine Corps.  He will continue to work from the United States where he resides with his family.

Christopher Gamble, newly-appointed Vice President of Sales, North America, at Adzuna, said: “When I saw how Adzuna powers UK government dashboards with data, that investors voted with $10M dollars in a recent Series C, the explosive year-on-year market growth and exciting new product innovations like ValueMyResume, I felt drawn to join their mission.

To say I’m thrilled to be joining this fast-growing job search engine to spearhead North American growth at such a critical and exciting time in Adzuna’s growth is an understatement! The success they have achieved globally in just a few short years is truly impressive and I look forward to adding my skills, experience and industry knowledge into what is clearly already a very effective strategy.“
