MILAN (Reuters) - Fifteen migrants were rescued in the Mediterranean by a non-governmental organisation on Sunday after a shipwreck, and three were found dead, the Italian news agency ANSA reported.
The rescue took place in the Maltese search and rescue (SAR) area, 53 nautical miles off the Italian island of Lampedusa, ANSA said.
Survivors told rescuers, who are members of NGO Sea Punks, that three people were missing, the news agency added.
