Continental to cut 200 more jobs than initially planned, FAZ reports

BERLIN (Reuters) - Continental plans to cut 200 more jobs than initially announced, the FAZ newspaper reported on Wednesday, citing a spokesperson for the German car parts supplier.

Around 360 of the 430 employees at Continental's Wetzlar plant were not offered a transfer, the spokesperson was quoted as saying, after the company spoke in March of 160 job losses as a result of the planned closure, FAZ reported.

The company was not immediately available for comment.
